Crossed Fingers is held at the Island, a creative venue right in the middle of Bristol's central shopping area, where the old police station used to be.

Address:

The Gallery Space
The Island
Bridewell Street
Bristol, BS1 2LE

The Island is in Bristol's 'Broadmead' shopping area, and there are many carparks you can find nearby to park your car if you are driving to the event. You can view an interactive map of parking spaces in central Bristol here.

If you are using public transport to get to us, the easiest way is to get a bus/coach to Bristol Bus Station - the cheapest way you'll do so is with Megabus (link), or National Express (link).

Point A on the map is the Island, and point B is the bus station, it's literally a 2-3 minute walk and is almost a straight line, so it's easy to follow.

If you're coming by train the best thing to do is to buy a 'plus bus' train ticket (around £2 more than the standard ticket price) which gives you unlimited travel in Bristol on all First busses. From outside the train station bus number 8 takes you direct to Broadmead, where it's just a few minutes walk to the venue. For more details on the bus check here, and for train tickets check here.

However if you don't mind a 15 minute walk it's pretty simple to get from the train station to the venue.

Again point A is the venue and point B is the train station. It's a very simple straight line, and the whole route is clearly signposted from the train station to Broadmead.
